Our Story
On April 1st, 2024, our lives changed forever when our daughter, Harper, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (A.L.L.). As parents, nothing prepares you for the emotional rollercoaster of hearing your child has cancer. The past six months have been filled with long days of treatment, hospital visits, and countless moments of fear and uncertainty.
Through this journey, we witnessed firsthand how incredibly tough these treatments are on children. We also came to realize the profound impact that simple acts of kindness, support, and compassion can have on families going through this experience. Foundations like Harper’s Heroes have the potential to provide moments of comfort and joy during these challenging times.
That’s why we created Harper’s Heroes—not just in honor of Harper, but for every child fighting this battle. Our mission is to support young children in Colorado Springs who are battling A.L.L. by building relationships with them and providing goods and services that make their days a little brighter. From care packages and transportation to special events and celebrations, we are dedicated to helping these children and their families through the difficult journey of treatment.
We are committed to making a difference, one child at a time, and ensuring that no family faces this fight alone. Harper’s Heroes is here to bring hope, comfort, and a community of support to those who need it most.
